Willie Taylor, Director
Willie Taylor attended St. Louis Public elementary and high school. He’s a high school graduate of O’Fallon Technical High School, class of 1968. He holds an Associate Degree (Law Enforcement) St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley and Bachelor of Science Degree (Criminal Justice) from Northeast Missouri State University (Truman State). He joined the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in November 1969. He served in several police districts as a police officer and specialized units as a detective. After serving 24 years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department retiring holding the rank of Lieutenant. He became the Corporate Director of Security with Harrah’s Casinos. After several years in the casino industry, he became a legal investigator for the St. Louis City and County Family Courts. Sometime later, he became a consumer fraud investigator with the Missouri Attorney General Office. After a successful amount of years in this office, he became the Chief Investigator for the State of Missouri Department of Labor in Jefferson City. He is currently retired.
He's a member of SLARPO (St. Louis Association of Retired Police Officers), St. Louis Police Veteran Association, a member of the Royal Vagabonds Inc. also serving as a Director on the Royal Vagabonds Foundation . He’s a member of the Anniversary Club.
